This year I worked with my friend Marion, founder of @lesaventuriersdubiscuit , to create limited edition boxes jewelry + biscuits.

As we wanted to pamper and thank you, we’re offering a prize raffle with our friend’s @Laura_blogmadeinfrance help. Laura supports made in France and artisanal products. For the much-awaited Mothers Day, I had the pleasure to create an exclusive collection for Les Aventuriers du Biscuit. I just love this label full of surprises and care. Marion and I decided to work together so we could propose an original present to gift your mother on this special day.

A new page is turning for me as I am developing new projects.
I am updating my websites, taking professional training, reading and CREATING A LOT.
I had to cancel several planned events : exhibitions, creative classes, fashion shows.
Once the confinement due to the CORONAVIRUS is over, I’ll be delighted to share my universe and inspirations with you !

Sabina Nougarède : boundless fashion

When she was 14, Sabina Nougarède told her parents she wanted to be a stylist and fashion designer. « They answered to me : “There is no interdiction, but do it well” », she remembers. This is why she called her fashion and jewels brand Interdiction. She creates her collections from her workshop located in Antony.

The last one, named « Joie et simplicité » (Joy & Simplicity), is full of colours and fabrics like wax, cotton, silk, linen-cotton. « When you wear colorful clothes, you communicate something to the world. You refill yourself with energy, like a sort of therapy” she analyses. In order to create her pieces, Sabina Nougarède puts to use her fashion education. She gets her inspiration from her personal history. Her dad was born in Cambodia and opened her mind to the world, which gave her the passion for travels in Africa, Asia, America and Europe. Also, she wandered in airports during her stylist career for a french-asian ready-to-wear brand. In charge of designing the collections, she stayed 44 times in China within 10 years. There, she took part in meetings or went looking for materials. In the meantime, she had already created her brand Interdiction 10 years before. « I was so called on by my employer that I could not focus on my own projects” she explains.Becoming a mother convinced her to start as an independant brand a year ago. She is now entering this new chapter by looking for shops where she can sell her pieces. She will be representing herself at the Salon des créateurs (Creators’ Salon) on december 21st and 22nd, at Beauty Soul Pascal Coste on december 7th and 14th for private sales. There will probably be an expo-sale in 2020 at “la boutique Dock’d CO” in rue de l’Église.
